Los días 16 y 17 de junio, se celebrará en el Banco de España la conferencia "Mercado de trabajo: crecimiento, productividad y desigualdad", organizada conjuntamente con el Banco Mundial. El objetivo de la conferencia es reunir a académicos y responsables económicos para discutir la dinámica del mercado de trabajo y su relación con el crecimiento. En particular, la Conferencia estudiará la nueva evidencia sobre la respuesta del mercado de trabajo a perturbaciones macroeconómicas y medidas económicas tras la gran recesión, y sobre cómo podrían reaccionar los niveles de empleo y los salarios a diferentes programas laborales. Se prestará atención a la interacción entre la estructura laboral y las rigideces del mercado de trabajo y su reacción ante fluctuaciones del ciclo económico, así como a los efectos de perturbaciones de oferta y demanda sobre el empleo, los salarios y la desigualdad. También se analizará cómo diferentes medidas podrían afectar a la calidad del empleo, la productividad laboral y el crecimiento.
