Los días 9 y 10 de Octubre tuvo lugar en el Banco de España la Primera Conferencia Anual de la ESCB Research Cluster 1 on Monetary Economics.
Esta es una de las tres redes de investigación (research clusters) creadas por los jefes de investigación del Sistema Europeo de Bancos Centrales (ESCB, por sus siglas en inglés), con el propósito de fomentar y diseminar estudios de investigación relevantes desde el punto de vista de la política económica, así como estimular la colaboración entre investigadores del ESCB. En la conferencia se presentaron trabajos situados en la frontera de la investigación, tanto teórica como empírica, sobre cuestiones relacionadas con los canales de transmisión y el impacto de la política monetaria (tanto convencional como no convencional) y con su diseño óptimo.
