Would you like your students to become aware of and get to grips with effective personal finance? The Banco de España is offering students in lower and upper secondary education and intermediate vocational training the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of personal finance through this dynamic and motivational workshop.
The workshops will revolve around key topics, such as:
- Financial planning and saving: raising awareness of the importance of organising personal finances and smart saving
- Responsible consumption: discovering how to make informed spending decisions by being aware of our personal biases
- Debt: taking out a loan is a big decision, the factors to be considered
- Fraud prevention: avoiding potential traps and learning the golden rule (don’t share personal data)
- Cryptocurrencies: an introduction
We will also hold a practical workshop on banknote security features where we will learn how to distinguish counterfeit banknotes.
These are dynamic and interactive workshops where we encourage students to participate, combining presentations on key theoretical concepts with explanatory videos, gamification and even a competition where students can put what they’ve learned to the test.
With inclusivity in mind, we’ve also designed a version of this workshop that’s suitable for people with disabilities.
