The main objective of the workshops is to raise awareness of the importance of young people learning about finance from an early age. Their content revolves around issues such as planning and saving, responsible consumption, debt, fraud prevention and the security features of euro banknotes.

This activity is for groups of school students only. Applications will not be accepted from natural or legal persons who receive any kind of remuneration for the activity.

Information of interest

• The workshops are free of charge and must be booked in advance.
• Groups must have between 20 and 60 participants.
• The workshop schedule for the school year is open for bookings from September. You can register here to receive more information. You can also join the waiting list later in the year.
• The activity takes place on the premises of the Banco de España in Madrid, at our head office in Alcalá 48 or our building in Alcalá 522, depending on availability.
• If you can’t come to our premises in Madrid, the workshop can be held via videoconference.
• It lasts for approximately 3 hours, from 10:00 to 13:00.

Rules for visitors

• Access to the building is between 9:20 and 9:50.
• All visitors must show their ID card or passport and access the building through the security checkpoints.
• The badge issued by the security staff must be worn visibly.
• The group must be accompanied by the staff of the Banco de España at all times. Do not stray from the group.
• Do not take photos or videos inside the building.
• This activity is not recommended for children under 14.
• In the event of an evacuation, follow the instructions of the Banco de España security staff.
