On 30th November 2018, TARGET Instant Payment Settlement (TIPS) service in euros went live. This service, which is integrated into the TARGET system, enables the settlement of instant payment orders in central bank money 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
In addition, TIPS is a multi-currency service, which means that it also facilitates the settlement of instant payments in currencies other than the euro, thus offering a flexible and efficient solution for international transactions.
