The FSB promoted the creation of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). The TCFD is made up of experts from the financial sector and from different markets. Since its creation in 2015, the TCFD’s recommendations have become a voluntary benchmark for firms and their disclosure of non-financial information.
The FSB is also analysing the potential implications of climate change for financial stability and promoting international coordination in this area.
