Series: The Bank’s heritage.
Author: Banco de España.
This work comprises a wide and representative selection of architectural plans relating to the history of Banco de España, in the holdings of the Historical Archive. The book is in two parts: plans from Madrid and plans of the branch offices.
The plans from Madrid include documents on the first building, extensions, closure plans and various interior renovations.
The branch office and agency plans include a brief summary on the history of the buildings and the plans for each of them. In some branch offices, even the plans of the buildings that were constructed prior to the existing buildings are published, all of which are of great interest.
Published plans may be consulted in the Historical Archive, as well as complementary documents relating to the buildings.
This publication is only available in Spanish.
