The microdata from CIR_CBI constitute a database of company information resulting from combining the loans, transaction by transaction, to legal entities reported to the Central Credit Register of the Bank of Spain (CIR) by reporting entities, along with a set of economic and financial ratios calculated by the Central Balance Sheet Data Office (CdB) based on the annual accounts submitted by companies to the Commercial Registries.
- Data sourceThe data from CIR originates from the information declared in accordance with Circular 1/2013 issued by the Bank of Spain regarding the Central Credit Register. The data from the CBI is derived from the mandatory submission of annual financial statements to the Commercial Registries, based on the agreement signed between the Bank of Spain and CORPME.
