After choosing the frequency of the data (annual or quarterly), this visualization presents tables and graphs, which respond to the user's choices, of some components of the balance of payments (current and capital account, goods and services, tourism and travel). It also presents information on the international investment position (IIP) and its direct and portfolio investment headings, as well as the related CDIS and CPIS surveys. Likewise, it shows the integrated IIP, that is, the relationship between the balance of payments balance according to its financial account and the variation of the IIP. Finally, external debt and international reserves can also be visualized.
The user can select different data transformations, different time periods, the type of transaction or information by sectoral categories or by institutional sectors (in the case of PII).
