Certificate renewal/revocation

Renewal of certificates involves continuity of use.

It is not automatic and requires action by the certificate holder.

When the date for certificate expiry approaches, the PKIBdE certification authority will notify the event by email to the technical contact's email addresses with a copy to the applicant.

If it will be necessary to continue to use the certificate that is about to expire, it is recommended that, once the above-mentioned notification is received, the renewal process is initiated.

Application for certificate revocation involves deactivating them as they are no longer trustworthy, or for other reasons.
