Training program for citizens and the general public

Among our training options, we have available the on-site or online course "Get to know the euro" aimed at retailers and other professionals who want to become familiar with the security features of banknotes and coins, and know what to do if a banknote or coin is suspected of being counterfeit. In addition, any citizen, teacher or student can also take the online version of this course.

Likewise, with the aim of promoting the participation of the educational community in activities related to training on cash, the Banco de España holds conferences and courses for teachers. We also offer workshops for students, which combine theory and practice and allow students to become familiar with the security features of euro banknotes and coins, as well as reflect on issues related to cash.
