The Pliable Plane: Textiles as a Meeting Place for Art, Architecture, and Industry
This exhibition explores textiles as far more than decorative objects. Since ancient times, textiles have shaped the spaces we inhabit: providing shelter, defining boundaries, organising environments, and creating places to live and gather.
Alongside these practical functions, textiles have long served as powerful cultural tools, conveying stories, expressing institutional identities, and revealing the connections between society, industry, and artistic production.
