- Balance of Payments
A macroeconomic statistic that systematically summarizes the economic transactions conducted between residents of an economy and residents of the rest of the world over a given period. It includes the accounts of goods and services, primary income, secondary income, capital, and the financial account.
- Banco de España
The Banco de España is a public law entity that performs the function of the national central bank in Spain. It is also assigned the supervision of the Spanish banking system and other financial intermediaries operating in Spain.
- Bank Lending Survey
Quarterly survey on credit policies that the Eurosystem has been conducting since January 2003. In this survey, which is aimed at a predetermined sample of credit institutions in the euro area, qualitative questions are asked about loan approval criteria, the conditions applicable to them, and the demand for credit for businesses and households.

). - Banknote allocation key
Percentages that result from taking into account the ECB’s share in the total euro banknote issue and applying the subscribed capital key (rounded to the nearest multiple of 0,0005 of a percentage point) to the national central banks’ share in this total.

- Base interest rate
The interest rate from which the rest of the interest rates applied by the Banco de España in its operations, excluding intervention operations, were determined. Its effective validity occurred between July 1969 and July 1977, although it was legally in force until January 1998.
