Having legal personality, these entities are allowed to self-manage their activities, although they usually require the services of a management company
Venture capital companies are included in the subsector ‘other financial intermediaries, except insurance companies and pension funds,’ S. 125 in the sectorisation of the European System of Accounts 2010.
