Abstract
The Balance of Payments (BoP) and the International Investment Position (IIP) are of particular interest in the current international environment, marked by increasing trade and geopolitical tensions, as well as new trade agreements such as Mercosur. This note analyses the evolution of net lending and the IIP for the Spanish economy in 2025. It also includes two boxes: one focused on data relating to the United States and another on foreign direct investment in technology sectors.
