Social benefits for employees

Purpose

Processing of social benefits for employees (pension plans, loans, advanced payments, health insurance, life insurance, social services, etc.)

Legal basis

  • For non-employee beneficiaries, the data subject consents to the processing of his or her personal data.
  • For employed recipients, the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party.

Categories of data subjects

  • Current and retired employees
  • Other beneficiaries (e.g. family members of employees)

Categories of personal data

  • Identification data: Name, surname, ID card number or equivalent, member number, health card number and signature.
  • Contact details: e-mail address, postal address, telephone number.
  • Professional data: Position held, professional level and employee number.
  • Economic and financial data: salary, account information.
  • Personal characteristics data: marital status, family data, nationality, age, date and place of birth.
  • Special category data: Health data relating to disabilities, as this is voluntary processing for the purpose of managing the Bank of Spain's related aid, on the basis of the data subject's express consent (article 9.2.a) of the GDPR).
  • Data of vulnerable subjects: Data of minors under 14 years of age.

Retention period

Personal data shall be retained for the time necessary to fulfil the purpose for which they were collected and to allocate any liability arising from said purpose and from the processing of the data.

Security measures

Security measures provided for in Annex II of Royal Decree 3/2020, of 8 January, which regulates the National Security Scheme in the field of Electronic Administration.

  • Pension fund custodian financial institution
  • Companies auditing the annual accounts of the pension fund
  • Trade unions
  • Notaries
  • Judges and courts
  • Other competent public administration bodies
