In compliance with Directive (EU) 2019/1024
on open data and the reuse of public sector information, and with Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/138, the Banco de España makes available to the public a set of High Value Data (HVD) under its responsibility, with the aim of promoting their reuse and maximizing their economic and social impact.
This dataset can be accessed through the Statistics section of the Banco de España’s website. The information is organized into the following thematic blocks to facilitate consultation and download:
- National accounts: main indicators on companies (financial institutions)
- National accounts: main indicators on households
- Consolidated gross debt of Public Administrations
For each indicator, the following access options are provided:
- BIEST application: allows users to consult and graphically visualize each series, as well as download it in various formats.
- Excel and CSV files: enable direct download of each series in both formats.
- Statistics web service (API): allows direct download of series values in JSON format.
