A new dataset of historical series has been published, relating to the " Cash register of foreign operations" for the period 1961-1992.
This statistic included the main items of income and payments in foreign currency initially made by the IEME (Spanish Institute of Foreign Currency) and, later, by the Banco de España. It was one of the most relevant primary sources of data for the preparation of the Balance of Payments of Spain.
