Analysing the challenges facing the Spanish economy and releasing reports

The Law of Autonomy of the Banco de EspañaOpens in new window, the main piece of legislation that governs the institution's activities, states that one of the Bank’s main functions is to advise the Government and prepare any reports and studies deemed necessary.

Consequently, the Banco de España draws up various regular public reports in which it analyses economic and financial developments in the Spanish economy, the euro area as a whole and the rest of the world.
