Banco de España presents HERMES
(Multifunctional Statistics Exploration and Retrieval Tool), the evolution of BIEST, designed to facilitate access to time series published by Banco de España and regularly updated.
This new interface allows users to search, consult, visualise and download information from the statistical databases, offering flexible and intuitive navigation designed both for quick queries and for more detailed exploration of the series. The information is organised according to a thematic classification and can be located using different search options.
HERMES allows users to:
- Search for series using free text, most searched terms or categories.
- Refine results using filters such as category or frequency.
- Select and consult several series simultaneously.
- Visualise data using interactive and accessible charts or in tabular format.
- Customise charts by selecting the time period and type of representation: lines, columns or stacked columns.
- Consult detailed information for each series, such as its description, code, frequency, unit of measurement and available time period.
- Download data in different formats, including CSV, Excel and PDF.
- Save selections of series in series collections so they can be retrieved later without having to repeat the search.
