Changes in placements «Registered labour market developments»

In order to align the information published by the Banco de España with that released by the Spanish Public Employment Service (SEPE), the structure of the table «Registered labour market developments: vacancies, job seekers and placements» (table 24.16
) has been modified.
Specifically, the placements section of the table has been revised to explicitly include placements corresponding to active jobseekers (with and without a prior job offer). In addition, the category other placements have been redefined in a manner consistent with the information disseminated by the SEPE, including placements of jobseekers whose applications are inactive in the Public Employment Services and placements of non-jobseekers.
As a result, the information published is now fully aligned with the original source and the comparability of the series over time has been enhanced.
