In order to obtain information on the course of economic activity, in addition to helping to better understand the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the Spanish business sector, the Banco de España has designed a brief questionnaire to be distributed to a sample of companies selected by the Banco de España Central Balance Sheet Data Office.
The companies are asked to complete an online survey sent from the Banco de España e-mail address ending in @bde.es. To ensure its security and confidentiality, this online survey is hosted on a European System of Central Banks (ESCB) website called epsilon.escb.eu.
The responses will be treated confidentially by the Banco de España. Accordingly, the survey will ask you to enter a code provided by the Central Balance Sheet Data Office. You should not indicate your company name or any other identifying information. The information will only be used for the purposes of analysing the economic situation and under no circumstances will it be published on an individual level. When the information gathering process is finished, the Banco de España will make available to you a report with the key results.
