The Bank Customer Portal is an initiative by the Banco de España to assist individuals in their dealings with banking products and services.

The portal offers clear and accessible information about the rights and obligations of users of the banking system in Spain. The aim is to equip the public with the skills and knowledge necessary to interact with banks independently and with confidence.

The Bank Customer Portal of the Banco de España is aimed at everyone in Spain, including younger people. Using plain and straightforward language, it offers the following resources:

  • Information about banking products and services, such as accounts and deposits, payment services and financing services.
  • Financial simulators for banking products.
  • A compilation of financial regulations, particularly in regard to the protection of bank customers.
  • A compendium of the principles of good banking practice.
  • Instructions for making enquiries and submitting complaints to the Banco de España.
  • A blog with articles on topical issues.
