Euro area statistics, by country

These tables are simultaneously published by all the euro area countries. The updating is carried out by the ECB, that is the institution responsible for its elaboration.

The European System of Central Banks started the dissemination euro area statistical data, with a country-by-country breakdown on December 2005. As part of this project the Banco de España, along with the European Central Bank and the other National Central Banks of the Eurosystem, disseminates the following tables:

Balance Sheet Items statistics (BSI)

• Aggregated balance sheet of euro area monetary financial institutions, excluding the Eurosystem (Outsanding Amounts)

• Outstanding amounts and transactions of euro-denominated quoted shares by country of residence and sector of the issuer

Balance of Payment statistics (BOP)

• Official reserve assets, other foreign currency assets and related short-term liabilities
