This evaluation, which began in 2023, includes a critical review of the use of innovative technologies to improve the processes for the prudential supervision of credit institutions. Particular emphasis is placed on the governance of the technical development (tools) and human development processes (supervisory capacity in the suptech area), alignment with the Banco de España's strategic digitalisation objectives established in the Information Technology Strategy 2024 and coordination and interaction with the Single Supervisory Mechanism in the suptech area.
