Procurement

The procurement activity of the Banco de España, regulated by Internal Circular 3/2007, comes under the rules of private law and is subject to the principles of competition, equality of treatment, non-discrimination, mutual recognition, proportionality, transparency and publicity.

Furthermore, as from 1 December 2008 after the Governing Council of the European Central Bank (ECB) approved decision ECB/2008/17, the ECB and the central banks of the Eurosystem may engage in joint tendering for the purchase of goods and services.

This section is used for publishing, in Spanish, prior information notices, tenders in progress, awarded contracts, cancelled procedures and any other information which may be deemed useful to these effects.
