About us

The 14th edition of the CEPR  European Summer Symposium in International Macroeconomics (ESSIM) took place from 24 to 28 May 2008 in Roda de Bará, Tarragona. It was organised jointly by the Bank of Spain and the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR).

The annual symposium brings together some 60 economists from Europe and leading researchers from other regions. It is a unique opportunity to share experiences and develop areas of research collaboration. The meeting also aims to bring together internationally prestigious young researchers and economists.
