About us

The 13th edition of the International Conference of Banking Supervisors took place in Madrid from 20 to 24 September. This conference, held every two years since 1979, seeks to promote international co-operation among the different banking supervisors, by sharing opinions on current issues. The countries that have hosted this conference to date are: United Kingdom (1979), United States (1981), Italy (1984), Netherlands (1986), Japan (1988), Germany (1990), France (1992), Austria (1994), Sweden (1996), Australia (1998), Switzerland (2000) and South Africa (2002).
