Supervision transparency

Article 144 of the Capital Adequacy Directive requires a certain type of information to be published by the banking supervision authorities in the European Union, so that information can be compared between the various member states.

The information should be published in a common format, which is regularly updated and is accessible through a single electronic site.

Therefore, the Committee of European Banking Supervisors (CEBS) has developed a common framework comprising centralised information published on the CEBS website.

More specific reports are published on the websites of the various supervisory authorities.
