• What information on financial institutions is available through the Banco de España's Public Registry of Institutions?

  The Banco de España's Registry of Institutions contains the identifying details of all the institutions subject to control and inspection by the Banco de España. The institutions are listed by type, and within each category they are arranged in alphabetical order and by their BE code. The Registry also includes the list of foreign credit institutions authorised since 1992 to operate in Spain without permanent establishment in the country.

  The Banco de España also publishes the registry of agents authorised by the credit institutions and money transfer agencies to carry out certain transactions on their behalf.
