Attention to the public during the COVID-19 crisis

From 8 June, on all its premises, the Banco de España resumed attending personally to the general public, after this was suspended further to the Government’s decision to decree a state of alert to contain the spread of the coronavirus. Resumed services were gradual, as the cities where the Bank’s premises are located moved into phase 2 of the “Plan for transition to a new normality” approved by the Council of Ministers on 28 April 2020.

By prior appointment, and following the safety measures recommended by the health authorities, all premises will offer the usual services to the public (the submission of documents for register, direct-account-related operations and current-account-holder transactions will not require an appointment). Opening hours for these services to the public will be Monday-Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
