Temporary contracts

In keeping with current ordinary employment legislation, the Banco de España also offers work-placement contracts for new graduates and temporary supply contracts to cover for workers of different groups and levels in the Bank who hold the right to reserve their position.

Work-placement contracts

These are aimed at those who have obtained a higher degree or university qualification in the last five years, or in the last six years if they are disabled graduates.

The role requires a higher university qualification ( licenciado , ingeniero , arquitecto , or equivalent) or a university graduate qualification, preferably in Business Administration and Management, Economics, Statistics or Law, with a good academic record and high level of English.

Temporary contracts

Technician: The role requires that the candidate has a higher university degree ( licenciado , ingeniero , arquitecto or equivalent) or university graduate qualification, preferably in the field of economics or law, computer literacy (Windows and Internet) and a high level of English. Professional experience in analytical tasks, the preparation of studies, consultancy and jobs in the banking and financial-market sphere in general will be taken into account.

Junior Office Assistant : The role requires that the candidate hold the Graduado en Educación Secundaria (Spanish secondary education certificate), with computer literacy (Windows-based office tools and Internet) and a high level of spoken and written English. Professional experience in management secretary duties will be taken into account.

Junior Cashdesk Assistant : The role requires that the candidate hold the Graduado en Educación Secundaria (Spanish secondary education certificate). Professional experience in performing tasks associated with cash handling, movement and safekeeping will be taken into account.

Miscellaneous Activities : The role requires that the candidate hold the Graduado en Educación Secundaria (Spanish secondary education certificate) and a driving licence for automotive equipment and manual load manipulators. Professional experience in loading, moving and distributing materials and other items will be taken into account.
