Information, subscription and sales

All current Banco de España publications, with the exception of the Directorate Human Resources and miscellaneous publications, are simultaneously available in print and online format at the Banco de España website (www.bde.es), where they and a large number of past publications may be downloaded FREE OF CHARGE. The publications that can be downloaded are listed in the catalogue available for consultation at the Banco de España website.

Online publication

Apart from the downloading possibilities currently offered by this website, the Banco de España has an electronic archive of its regular publications, dating back to the first issue. The list of publications available in PDF format can be viewed in the Electronic archive.

Free publications

All publications, with the exception of the studies commissioned from the Central de Balances (Spanish Central Balance Sheet Data Office), texts of the Directorate Human Resources and miscellaneous publications, can be obtained free of charge by applying in writing to the Unidad de Publicaciones at the postal address given at the bottom of this page. The Banco de España reserves a limited number of copies to this end, making no commitment to print further copies when they have run out. The number of copies per person may be restricted.

Free distribution lists are open for the following publications: Boletín económico, Boletín Mensual del Banco Central Europeo, Working Papers, Estabilidad Financiera and Notas de Estabilidad Financiera. However, the Banco de España reserves the right to suspend this service without notice, and to restrict the number of copies per person. Anyone wishing to be included in these lists should send a written application to the Unidad de Publicaciones at the address given at the bottom of this page. These data will be stored on an automated file. To exercise the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and challenge in respect of these data, please contact the Publications Unit.

Books distributed by the Banco de España: via any bookshop or a direct order addressed to Banco de España, Unidad de Publicaciones, Alcalá, 522. 28027 Madrid. Payment may be by means of a transfer to current account 9000.0001.20.0250974114, at the Banco de España in Madrid, indicating "Publicaciones del Banco de España" as the beneficiary; or with a cheque made payable to "Publicaciones del Banco de España". ; Alcalá, 522, 28027 Madrid. In the case of payment by transfer, a copy of the transfer order should be sent by post or fax (91 338 64 88); payment by cheque should be sent to Banco de España, Unidad de Publicaciones, Alcalá, 522. 28027 Madrid. In all cases the name, postal address and list of books it is wished to purchase should be indicated. These data will be stored in an automated file. To exercise the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and challenge in respect of these data, please contact the Publications Unit. The Banco de España will send the publication to the purchaser's address, free of all charges, in accordance with Postal Express home delivery regulations. The Banco de España has no direct sales outlet to the public on its premises. Books distributed by other publishers: via any bookshop.
