Online services of the Banco de España requiring electronic certificates

      Access for institutions that already have an electronic certificate issued by a certification services provider  aceptado por el Banco de EspañaOpens in a new window, or alternatively a certificate issued by the Banco de España itself, and that require an additional certificate to access one or several of the Bank's online services.

      Use this access channel if you have been directed to do so by regulations or directly by the Banco de España department you have contacted. Applications for certificates that are signed manually should be sent to this department.

      Citizens (natural and legal persons) can file claims, complaints or enquiries about the financial institutions supervised by the Banco de España, via the website.

  • Central Credit Register

      Citizens (natural and legal persons) in possession of a digital signature can request and receive the Risk Report by the CCR from our Virtual Office.

      Account holders authorised by the Payment systems Department may submit files with transfer orders signed electronically using certificates, via e-mail.

    • SIF - Public financial information exchange system in XBRL

      The system allows credit institutions to send the financial information regarding the eight public statements laid down in Circular 4/2004, using the XBRL standard to do so.

      It comprises the following subsystems: The publication of different versions of the es-be-fs taxonomy, the document validation service XBRL prior to sending, the document viewing service XBRL in HTML format, consultation of the status of dispatches and the consultation of errors the system had detected in documents sent.

    • Declaración del estado-resumen de operaciones de compra de billetes y cheques de viajero de titulares de establecimientos de cambio de moneda (Estado OEC-3)Opens in a new window

      This enables the owners of foreign exchange bureaux authorised solely to buy foreign banknotes and traveller cheques to send form OEC-3 to the Banco de España. This statement should only be sent when the volume of operations carried out by owners reaches certain amounts, cited in regulation 2 of Circular 6/2001, amended by Circular 3/2009.

      The system enables the following functions to be performed: Submission of statements of operations (quarterly or annually), Amendment of previously submitted statements, Recovery of statements temporarily saved, and Making enquiries.

      Group to which it is addressed: Natural and legal persons authorised by the Banco de España as owners of foreign exchange bureaux solely for purchases of foreign banknotes and traveller cheques, with payment in euro.

      As far as institutions supervised by the Banco de España are concerned, secure e-mail will only be used in those communications in which e-mail is currently used for communications with the supervision groups and in those cases in which a long-standing and frequent exchange of data is expected with a given institution.

  • Central Balance Sheet Data Office

    • Access intended for companies collaborating with the Central Balance Sheet Data Office, which already have an electronic certificate issued by a certification service provider accepted by Banco de EspañaOpens in a new window, to request a number of customised products (individual studies, data files, etc.).

  • Executive Service of the Commission for the Prevention of Money Laundering and Monetary Offences (SEPBLAC)

      In order for institutions to be able to send the information of the monthly operations reporting statement to the SEPBLAC using online means (through the DMO v2.  0 application), the digital certificates issued by the Banco de España must be used to sign these statements.
