Monetary policy decisions
The Governing Council of the European Central Bank analyses and makes decisions on monetary policy at the meetings held on the first Thursday of every month.
Decisions on the official interest rates for the euro area are announced in a press release and explained at the press conference held immediately after the Governing Council meeting.
