Publications

This publication presents annual and quarterly data on the balance of payments and the international investment position of Spain for the two previous years, following the methodology set out in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) manual. It also presents geographical breakdowns and, in the case of the financial account and the international investment position, breakdowns by investment type.

In addition to a methodological chapter describing, among other things, the procedure used to calculate the various categories and the changes which may have occurred since the last publication, it gives a detailed economic analysis of the current account, the capital account, the financial account and the international investment position.

Monthly data on Spain's balance of payments are published in the Statistics section, while data on the international investment position are published quarterly.

In 2012, the English version of this publication has been discontinued.
